While there are many qualified search methods to
track down a missing person (s), the ATV Search
and Rescue Squad is prepared to go into places
that other means of equipment and dogs cannot
go. We are presently a volunteer group of
dedicated and experienced All-Terrain Vehicle
operators with many years of experience in
extremely remote areas throughout Ontario.
Our goal is very simple; assist local
authorities and unfortunate families who are
missing a loved one and are in need of an
immediate detailed ground, search and rescue
operation.
There are many ways to locate a missing person,
however a properly concentrated plan extensively
detailing the search grid is extremely important
to a Safe and Successful search.
Safety and Team effort is a key role in a
qualified search.
Our ATV machines are thoroughly maintained and
checked prior to going into any remote and
dangerous areas. GSAR (ground, search and
rescue) gear is always ready to go.
ATV’s Searches are very versatile and can cover
a large area in a short and crucial time period
and are becoming a very useful tool.
Please take the time to add this page (link) and
our web site to your own computer favorites
because one day, you a family member, friend or
neighbor might go missing and will need our
immediate assistance and you can contact us
directly and promptly.
Thank you
