February 2007: PONDFEST 2007

PondFest 2007 was a tremendous success for the Ontario ATV Search and Rescue Federation.

Attendance was well over 1000 people who enjoyed a sunny day outside including activities such as skating, playing hockey, hockey shoot outs, hockey skills competition, listening to music, sitting by the bonfires, tons of raffle prizes, fun casino slots, ect.

The Palgrave Rotary Club deserves alot of credit for their support by sending us volunteers for the day and bringing out the popular chuck wagon that donated free hot dogs, hot chocolate, bottled water and coffee to everyone.

A big thank you to the Palgrave Public School for sending home flyers about the event to all 571 children in the area.

We also want to thank the Caledon Citizen news paper and Caledon Enterprise news paper for their support and coverage.

We are now planning the next fundraising event "AutoFest 2007" which will include ATV's, Motorcycles, Cars ect to be held in downtown Palgrave off of Hwy #50. Date to be announced shortly.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the event.
